It has been brought to my attention that it is now time for the unveiling of bethefawn.com's 10th annual Academy Award picks.

Courtney and I handpicked both our own Oscar favorites, as well as the films that we think will actually win.


Best Picture

As you can plainly see, Courtney and I actually agree on a considerable number of awards, which could mean that the Oscars are going to be rather predictable this year. Or we could be completely wrong. But if Pride & Prejudice doesn't get Best Costume I will throw a mini-quiche at the television.

Hope the quiche splattered well.

Other than that, you did pretty well.

Not that I know anything. I've seen precisely ONE of the movies nominated for anything, though when they're out on DVD, I'll likely watch 'em.

Saw "Crash." Meh. From what little I know of Der Academy, I was suprised it got such accolades. How did you predict its success?
