The Golden Globes

The Golden Globes aren't the Oscars; but like a birthday in November, they give us a tantalizing taste of what's to come. And if that means hearing Felicity Huffman make a few more speeches, then nobody I know is going to complain. Now for some impolite image hotlinking!

Johansson makes saying "Scarlett on the Golden Globes" into a tremendous visual pun. I mean, damn.

Speaking of Golden Globes; Keira Knightley- looking fabulous- demonstrates her Academy Award hopes by posing with the same Oscar statue that appeared in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

A winner very close to my heart, House, MD takes some time out from a differential diagnostic of aplastic anemia to be the most dapper man at the awards.

Mrs. Stuart Little also took home an award for the most recent lackluster West Wing "reinterpretation."

In the Golden Globe awards, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the Law and Order cast members who don't receive awards (left); and the Law and Order cast members who do (right). These are their stories.

Apples to Oranges, Gwyneth glows on red carpet once again. If Chris Martin ever writes another sad song, it'll be too soon.

Looking very un-Capote, Phil Hoffman elates after his win.
