Emphatically Empathic

If you have been to the American Apparel website recently, then you have no doubt witnessed some shocking displays of fashion. The company is known for their devotion to creating simple, stylish basics, but I couldn't help but notice that some of their bodysuits are a little outre. This one for example:

I'm not saying that I don't like it; in fact, I think it's rather fetching, but it made me think of this (as well as wonder how no one else had noticed):

Maybe making such a connection proves my own inherent nerdiness, but I'm willing to bet cosplayers everywhere are going to be racing to their local American Apparel to pick this hot little number up, when it hits the racks.
